Quick technical question: Is the compressor in the Advance a reciprocating-type compressor or a scroll compressor?

Thanks.

The compressors used in our dehumidifier are rotary.  Currently the most efficient compressors in the mid range size are rotary.  Thank you, Ken

OK, thanks.

(I was trying to account for a noise pattern the unit makes after it has been running for a while, it's a buzz/vibration that alternates from a quieter to louder level maybe 2-3 times/second. You can hear it all the time if you actually put your ear against the case, and I have heard this same noise with a scroll compressor. I suppose it's consistent with a rotary unit since they are somewhat similar in the way they work)
