When making the electrical connection between the Hydro-X handle and base assemblies, note that the molded plug has 2 keys that must be lined up in 2 keyways. If mis-aligned, the plug can be forced together such that the Hydro-X will ONLY operate in forward OR reverse. Forcing the plug can also bend the pins together causing a short and possible blown fuse.
