An Ultra-Aire system is designed to draw air from an intake duct located in the central part of the home. The dehumidified outlet air should be ducted into the supply duct for distribution throughout the home. A backdraft damper prevents the air from being pushed backwards through the Ultra-Aire when the central air conditioning fan is on and the Ultra-Aire is off.
