Routine Maintenance
This page provides convenient reminders for important routine maintenance required for certain Therma-Stor products. For complete instructions regarding your Therma-Stor product, please refer to your product's manual.
Standard Filters (MERV 11): These filters can be vacuumed cleaned on a regular basis. However, they should be replaced about every 6 months.
High Efficiency Filters (MERV 14): These filters can be vacuumed cleaned on a regular basis. Because it is a secondary filter to the standard MERV 11 filter, you should replace it every 2 - 3 years. How often you need to replace your filter(s) will vary by application.
Blower Oiling: The blower motor is factory lubricated for many years of normal operation. However, periodic oiling will extend motor bearing life. Add 3 to 5 drops of SAE 20 3-IN-ONE® Motor Oil to each port every 6 months. To prevent damage to the blower, do not use anything other than what is recommended.
