Heat Pump Water Heaters
Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH’s) are full condensing units that capture all of the heat rejected from a cooling system and use it to heat water. The system operates as a condensing unit rather than a water heater, and nearly all of the heat that is typically wasted is used to heat water. By heating water with waste heat, the unit not only increases efficiency of the refrigeration system, it reduces water heating costs. This type of system is compatible with smaller refrigeration systems.
